Rani Mukherji after playing the role of a tough cop in Mardaani franchise is appreciating the efforts of Mumbai Police through motivational music video “Rakh Tu Hausla”. The video will be released on June 4 and is filmed and written by Pravin Talan.
Mukherji has been asked by Mumbai Police Foundation to take part in the initiative which states that people should remain calm during the pandemic. The track has been composed by Nippu Khound and sung by Swarit Nigam. The teaser of the song has been shared by Mumbai Police on their Twitter account.
The actor said “As the world battles the virus, the frontline workers, including the medical personnel and the police force, are out there risking their lives to keep us safe. Their bravery, sacrifice and service will be remembered for years.” She had also thanked the families of the cops for their support.
