Arjun Kapoor is trying to keep people motivated during tough times. The actor had shared an inspiring video with a positive message during lockdown due to coronavirus. The actor shared a video of little girl Audrey Nethery on Instagram who is trying to learn the Cha Cha Cha, a Cuban dance form. She is innocently counting and dancing to “ 1 2 Cha Cha Cha”.
The star had captioned the video as “I came across this adorable video of #AudreyNethery and I was awe-struck! Audrey was 2 months old when doctors diagnosed her with Diamond Blackfan Anaemia, a rare blood disease that means Audrey doesn’t make enough red blood cells.”
He further said “As a result, she’s on steroids and sometimes has to get blood transfusions, but her positivity and view of life just struck me, and made me think that if this girl can be so positive in her life, then why can’t we all at least try to be positive through this unfortunate lockdown”.
The post gathered over 2 lakh views and the celebs including Sophie Chaudhary, Yami Guatam, Malaika Arora and Katrina Kaif left positive comments on the post. Arjun has been spreading awareness of the virus through his social media accounts.
Recently, the actor went on an online date with 5 lucky winners over the weekend in order to raise funds for those daily wagers who are currently earning nothing. He has raised enough funds to feed 300 families of daily wage workers for a month during the lockdown.
