2019 has been a very good year for Hrithik Roshan. After the disaster of Kaabil and Mohenjodaro, the actor finally got success in Super 30. The movie is based on the life of mathematician Anand Kumar and is the biggest hit of the year. War followed after Super 30 which was a hit despite a medium response from critics.
Super 30 is going to make another record. As China is returning back to normal after three months of fight from coronavirus since January Super 30 would be the first Bollywood film which will be released in the country.
Movies like Dangal, Secret Superstar and Bajrangi Bhaijaan have already tasted success in the country and it has become a prospective market for Bollywood. Super 30 has entered the 100 crore club and has earned appreciation from both audiences and critics. It is expected to do well in China also.
Reliance Entertainment Group CEO Shibasish Sarkar recently told that Super 30 has already been applied for censorship in China. “As and when the country and the industry open up, it will first get censored. And then it’ll get a release in the country,” he said.
“If things go well, it can be one of the first big hits in the Chinese market post lockdown,” as per the new sources. Dangal has earned over 1000 crore in China which made it the highest-grossing movie in the country.
