Ajay Devgn has released a new song Thahar Ja where he has asked people to stay at home during coronavirus lockdown. His son Yug also appears towards the end of the video. The song has been composed and sung by Mehul Vyas, produced by Ajay Devgn with lyrics written by Anil Verma.

Ajay is shown here with moist eyes and reminds people how much they have worked for building a house for themselves. The actor asks them to slow down and stay at home for the safety of their near and dear ones during the crisis. The video shows Ajay moving around in a small garden and sitting on the stairs in his house.

Ajay shared the details about shooting the video. He said, “Everyone, who was part of this, worked on it from their own homes. Given that I didn’t have a team to shoot it, I asked my son, Yug, if he wanted to be a part of it as my assistant director. When we shot it, all through the day he was working with me and running around the house. He was excited to see his name in the credits.”

Ajay had earlier expressed his anger and disgust at the incidents of violence against medical staff and doctors on baseless assumptions during the pandemic. The actor wrote a statement on Twitter as “DISGUSTED & ANGRY to read reports of “educated” persons attacking doctors in their neighborhood on baseless assumptions.”

The actor further added, “Such insensitive people are the worst criminals #StaySafeStayHome #IndiaFightsCorona”. He had also joined other stars for appreciating Mumbai Police for working tirelessly during lockdown due to coronavirus. He shared a video of Mumbai Police which asked people to stay at home as it is a luxury for those frontline police officials who are fighting against COVID – 19.
