When Twinkle Khanna decided to auction the Costume worn by her husband Akshay Kumar in Rustom. A furious citizen wrote to her a message which consisted of violence threat.
The message was shared by Sandeep Unnithan, who is a journalist. Twinkle responded to him and wrote, ”As a society do we really think it’s all right to threaten a woman with bodily harm for trying to raise funds for a charity by auctioning a uniform used in a movie, a piece of film memorabilia? I will not retaliate with violent threats but by taking legal action!” Twinkle wrote.
The idea of Twinkle and Akshay auctioning a costume for animal welfare has enraged the citizens with uniforms and have been criticized by the general public on social media.
