Actor Jaya Prada said the character of Khilji in Padmaavat reminded her of Azam Khan a leader from Samajwadi Party. She spoke regarding how he harassed her during one of the elections where she was contesting.
“When I was watching Padmaavat, Khilji’s character reminded me of Azam Khan ji, how he had harassed me during elections when I was contesting,” the former MP from Rampur constituency in Uttar Pradesh said.
Jaya accused the leader of foul play and arrogance even on previous occasions. Khan was accused of circulating her cheap posters to sully her image as a politican.
