‘Mere Dad Ki Maruti’ star Saquib Saleem might have been debuted with this film, but the role that got him into the limelight was a 20 minutes cameo in ‘Dhishoom’.
He will now be seen in a Comedy film opposite Taapsee Pannu in ‘Dil Junglee’. Speaking about the film, he says, “It is a fun-filled film. It is on the lines of ‘Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na’. The film tells us about life’s journey in a very light manner.”
“Taapsee and me, have become great friends. Our thought process is very similar and we belong to Delhi. So our mentalities match a lot. We have created a group on Whatsapp, We do call up each other at least twice or thrice in a day. We have made great friends and hope to continue it ahead. I am happy that with this film I find a great friend in Taapsee …..We gelled well as we are so much alike…speak from our heart and speak whatever comes to our heart and minds instantly.”
