Shamita Shetty who recently celebrated her birthday is missing her dad who passed away in 2016, she admits to not having celebrated her birthday since then. She says,” Every year, normally, I go for lunch with my friends, and spend the day with people who genuinely love me.”
Shamita gained popularity after her song ‘Sharara Sharara’ in 2002, but her debut film was Mohabbatein in Bollywood.
She had recently worked on a web series and says, “It does take me a lot of time to decide on what I want to do next, but I ensure that my subsequent work should not be similar to what I have done in the past”
Shamita is the younger sister of Shilpa Shetty Kundra. She said, “Every year I go to the temple, and after that, I visit a charity home, old-age home and offer food to the need. Every year my sister tries to throw me a surprise party but, miserably fails at it”. She laughs.
