While many of the industry’s leading stars are more than happy to lend their face to fairness creams, actor Sushant Singh Rajput has decided to stay clear of such commercials.
If rumour mills are to be believed the actor was recently offered an endorsement deal with a fairness cream company that was offering him a fee of rs 15 crore which he has rejected.
Sources close to the actor says” Sushant doesn’t believe in endorsing such products. So despite the fact that it was a lucrative offer he had turned it down. He feels he needs to be more responsible for the kind of products he lends his face to as there are several people who look up to him.
The three-year deal apparently required the actor to shoot for six commercials wherein the fairness cream will help elevate an underdog social standing.
This is not the first time an actor is turning down an offer for similar products. Previously actress Kangana Ranaut refused to be associated with one such product. Even Priyanka Chopra has expressed her regret for promoting skin lightening creams in the past.
