When Himesh Reshammiya decided to end his 22-year-long marriage with his wife Komal, fingers were pointed at the actress Sonia Kapoor. Who apparently, is having an extra-marital with Himesh.
Now, reports suggest that Himesh and Sonia are living together. A source revealed to the publication that the couple has moved-in together without Himesh’s divorce. “In fact, Himesh’s son Swayam is very close to his new love Sonia and both are on good terms with each other. Swayam also visits them regularly,” the source revealed.
Himesh is accompanied by Sonia to all his reality show shoots and live shows. However, when the singer-composer was asked if he was planning on a second marriage, he snapped and said a big ‘no’.
According to the reports, Himesh and Sonia have been together for quite a long time now. They started going around in 2006. It is said that Sonia was a frequent visitor at Himesh’s house, which was something that Komal was initially unhappy about. However, Komal is fine with it now.
Not just this, it was reported that Himesh was the one bearing all of Sonia’s expenses, and even taking her on romantic destination getaways. However, he denied these reports.
Although in December 2016, he filed for a divorce from his wife Komal. At the time, Himesh said, “Sometimes in life, mutual respect becomes the most important and giving due respect to our relationship, Komal and I have amicably decided to part ways… There is no problem whatsoever with this decision among us and our family as every member respects it. Yet, Komal is and will always remain a part of our family and I will always be a part of her family.”
