James Cameron’s Avatar is all set to release this Friday, 18th of December. The movie will be hitting Indian theatres will 700 prints including dubbed versions in Hindi, Tamil & Telugu. Avatar is the most expensive movie ever made in the history of cinema with a budget of $230-million & is produced by Twentieth Century Fox. Promotion of the movie has been going on since past 1 month & there is an incredible amount of buzz created among the people. The movie is all expected to have one of the biggest bumper openings in India ever for a Hollywood venture. In fact, most of the multiplexes in Metros have already registered full advanced bookings for the weekend and producers will be hoping to have cash flowing at the box office.
The movie will be released in 2d and 3d format along with IMAX 3d version. Movie marks breakthrough in filmmaking technology, for its spectacular 3D viewing and stereoscopic film making with cameras, developed especially for Avatar production alone. James Cameroon wrote the script of Avatar in 1994 with a vision to change the way we view cinema. It took more than 15 years till he put his dreams to reality and no wonder why there is so much of hype surrounding the movie.
