College Romance Season 1 | College Romance Series Episodes

The Timelines’ College Romance Season 1 stars Keshav Sadhna (Karan), Trippy (Manjot Singh) and Naira (Approva Arora). It is directed by Simarpreet Singh. The five episodes of College Romance Series revolves around the romantic lives of the three best friends. It explores college life, friendships and relationships, with The Timeliners’ usual dash of comedy. Trippy and Naira start off College Romance Season 1 being single and eventually get into (messy) relationships. Even though the web series captures the college life and problems of a college-going student- after a point of time, those problems seem exaggerated- like straight out of a Karan Johar movie.

However, what students in college do while bunking classes, be it chill in canteen or find a place to smoke a joint is an on-point description which most students would relate to. The life of three friends seem to be on a downhill, relationship-wise- almost at the same time which raises the drama quotient of the College Romance Series

The writing is funny. The character of Bagga played by Gagan Arora, a representative of the quint essential Delhi guy offers many funny moments in College Romance Season 1. The one-liners are well written as well.  The initial episodes go on smoothly, however, the web series seems rushed up towards the end, but College Romance season 1 ends on a cliffhanger, leaving the audience in anticipation of season 2.

Manjot Singh who we famously know as Chucha from Fukrey is impressive in his role and reminds us of his comic timing from the movie. Apoorva Arora and Keshav Sadhna also do justice to their roles. Shreya Mehta plays Deepika, Karan’s confused girlfriend. Hira Ashar plays Raveena, a college freshman who is Trippy’s girlfriend with a baggage of her past. Naira and Bagga are the cheesy couple you will find in every college. Season 1 of College Romance Series seems to be a hit with the audience with the viewership of the 5 episodes varying between 32-24 million.

Overall College Romance Season 1 is enjoyable, relatable, gets the dynamics of college relationships right, albeit with a bit of exaggeration.
